Manger Mall holiday gift program set to launch in Chelan Valley

Posted

CHELAN — The annual Manger Mall program, which provides holiday gifts to children in need within the Chelan and Manson school districts, will open registration in mid-October.

The charitable initiative served over 700 children from nearly 300 families last year and is preparing for another season of community support. Manger Mall, operated entirely by volunteers, distributes Lake Chelan Chamber Bucks gift certificates to eligible families, allowing them to purchase toys, electronics, or clothing from local businesses.

This year's program introduces two separate distribution events. The first will be held on Friday, December 6, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce. The second event is scheduled for Saturday, December 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at North Shore Bible Church in Manson, where Santa and Mrs. Claus will make an appearance to enhance the festive atmosphere.

Families can apply online in either Spanish or English starting mid-October at https://chelanvalleyhope.org/manger-mall/.

Manger Mall operates in collaboration with Chelan Valley Hope, a 501(c)(3) organization, ensuring that all donations are tax-deductible. The program specifies that it cannot accept toy donations or gift cards. Instead, monetary contributions are requested by November 30.

Donations can be made via mail to P.O. Box 477, Chelan, WA 98816, or online at www.chelanvalleyhope.org/manger-mall.
